Ken Paxton Calls Out Denton ISD For Illegal Electioneering

The battle for school choice in Texas has taken a dramatic turn as Governor Abbott throws his weight behind candidates who support education freedom. However, the left's desperation to maintain their grip on public education has led to alarming tactics that threaten the integrity of our democratic process.

Governor Abbott's endorsement of candidates advocating for education freedom has sent shockwaves through the establishment, prompting a swift and coordinated response from schools and their staff. Denton ISD's recent email urging its employees to vote against these candidates in the GOP primary is just the tip of the iceberg.

But the actions of Denton ISD and other institutions amount to illegal electioneering, as pointed out by Attorney General Ken Paxton. He rightfully asserts that such activities violate the election code and constitute a criminal offense. Yet, despite these clear violations, Paxton's hands are tied due to a loophole in the law that prevents his office from prosecuting such crimes.

Paxton's frustration is palpable as he condemns the Court of Criminal Appeals for its erroneous decision, which has effectively rendered his office powerless to address illegal electioneering and voter fraud.

What's at stake here is not just a political power struggle, but the future of Texas families and their children. Education freedom empowers parents to choose the best educational options for their children, fostering competition among schools and driving excellence in education.

By stifling the voices of those advocating for education freedom, the left is effectively silencing the hopes and aspirations of countless Texas families. It's time to expose their dirty tactics for what they are and stand up for the rights of parents and students to choose the education that best suits their needs.
