President Trump’s Address to Congress: What He Has Done for Families So Far

It’s no secret President Trump has been fighting for the American family unit since returning to the Oval Office. He has issued and signed multiple pro-family executive orders, with many more on the way. In his address to Congress earlier this week, he highlighted some of the major victories he has already achieved for American families. 

The first family issue the President tackled was ensuring schools educate, not indoctrinate. He stated, “We have removed the poison of critical race theory from our public schools and I have signed an order making it the official policy of the United States Government that there are only two genders, male and female.” While this may seem insignificant, restoring basic Biblical principles has a profound impact on the culture being shaped around the nation. No longer allowing pronouns and woke ideologies to dominate the nation and infiltrate our classrooms is a huge step forward. 

Additionally, President Trump has worked with former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines, who lost her title to a biological man competing in the women's division. The President signed an executive order to ban men from playing in women’s sports. This means,if any government funded school allows male athletes to participate in women's sports they will have all of their federal funding cut.

Not only did President Trump take action to protect female athletes, but he has also taken decisive action to end transgender indoctrination in public schools. He spoke about this by sharing he signed an Executive order to ban the promotion of such ideologies in the classroom.

Building on this, while child genital mutilation may have been halted in Texas, President Trump is working to ensure it ends nationwide. He called on Congress to pass a bill permanently banning and criminalizing sex changes for children, declaring that no child is “trapped in their own body.” His message to every child in America is powerful: "You are perfect, exactly the way God made you." It is essential that children are taught they are exactly as they were meant to be, created perfectly in the way God intended.
