This week was a pivotal one in the Texas Legislature as conservative leaders and organizations took action to protect the values that define our great state. Texas Family Project (TFP) was proud to lead this fight, working to ensure faith, family, and common sense continue to guide our laws and policies.
On Tuesday, TFP President Brady Gray traveled to Austin to meet with state representatives and senators, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to protecting Texas family's Biblical principles. In an era where radical leftist ideologies threaten our God-given freedoms, these meetings were a necessary step to ensure elected officials remember they are accountable to the values of their constituents.
Later in the week, TFP Executive Director Kaden Lopez appeared before the legislature to testify in support of three crucial bills to uphold morality and truth in Texas law.
First, House Bill 1443, authored by Representative Nate Schatzline (R-Fort Worth), seeks to ban child sex dolls. While the radical left continues to push depraved and harmful ideologies, this bill aims to curb the further erosion of public decency, protect societal standards, and honor human dignity. These dolls are anatomically correct and are known to be used by predators and future predators. Not only would this bill make the distribution illegal but also the possession. In his testimony, Kaden stated, “Texas will not tolerate the exploitation of our children.”
Secondly, Texas Senate Bill 240, authored by Senator Mayes Middleton (R-Galveston), reinforces the biological truth that individuals should use the restroom and locker room corresponding to the gender God assigned them at birth. Common sense, safety, and respect for natural law must take precedence over the radical gender confusion the left relentlessly promotes. The misuse of misrepresentation of gender in bathrooms has led to women feeling vulnerable and in a place of potentially physical danger.
Lastly, Senate Concurrent Resolution 42, authored by Senator Bryan Hughes (R-Mineola), solidifies an undeniable truth: there are only two genders—male and female. While leftists attempt to distort reality and push a narrative to deny basic biological facts, this resolution stands as a bold declaration that Texas will not bow to their ideology.
This legislation is vital in preserving the foundation of our society against the encroachment of progressive extremism! You can watch Kaden’s testimony here and here.
Texas Family Project is essential in Texas’ battle for truth and righteousness. In a world where progressive forces seek to redefine morality and undermine the values that built our nation, it is more important than ever for Christian conservatives to stand strong. The fight is far from over, but with dedicated leadership and unwavering faith, Texas will be a beacon of traditional values in America.
Let this serve as a reminder that our voices matter. We must remain vigilant, stay engaged, and continue to support lawmakers who have the courage to defend the truth. Texas Family Project is leading the charge, but it is up to all of us to stand with them in protecting the future of our great state!
