In a shocking revelation that underscores the moral decay in certain political circles, a transgender former Democrat New Hampshire state lawmaker, who identifies as a woman, is facing severe criminal charges. Stacie Marie Laughton, a 39-year-old born male, who now identifies as a female, is accused of conspiring with a daycare worker to procure sexually explicit photos of innocent children.
Laughton, who made history as the first transgender legislator in New Hampshire, is charged with aiding and abetting the sexual exploitation of children, according to the U.S. attorney’s office in Boston. The charges stem from her alleged collaboration with Lindsay Groves, a 38-year-old daycare worker, who is believed to have been in a relationship with Laughton. The pair are suspected of working together to take sexually explicit photos of children at Groves' place of work.
A preliminary forensic review of Groves’ cellphone allegedly revealed more than 10,000 text messages between Laughton and Groves. These texts reportedly included discussions about, and the transfer of, explicit photographs that Groves had taken last year, of children who appeared to be between 3 to 5 years old.
The text messages allegedly show the couple fantasizing about sexual intercourse with the young children. This disturbing exchange is a stark reminder of the deep-seated issues plaguing our society and the need for stringent measures to protect our children.
Groves is now a former employee at Creative Minds Early Learning Center in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts. She was charged last month with sexual exploitation of children and distribution of child pornography for allegedly taking nude photos of the 3- to 5-year-old children and disseminating them.
Laughton, a Democrat, was first elected in 2012 to the New Hampshire state legislature but resigned after an identity fraud conviction from 2008 surfaced. Laughton ran again in 2020 and was re-elected in 2022 but resigned in December after being charged with stalking Groves.
This case serves as a wake-up call for America, highlighting the urgent need for vigilance and stringent measures to protect our children from such heinous acts. The charge of sexual exploitation of children can lead to a sentence of up to 30 years in prison, a fitting punishment for such a despicable crime.
