Tuesday night was an emotional roller coaster for many people across the nation. As you most definitely have heard by now, former and now future President Donald J. Trump, along with running mate Senator J.D. Vance, won the nomination. Republicans also flipped several US Senate seats and, as of this writing, stand a strong chance of retaining the majority in the US House of Representatives.
After Pennsylvania was called, Trump took the stage to deliver a message to the American people. Trump thanked his family and supporters before handing the stage over to Vance. Vance mentioned their plans to build the best economy in American history. Families everywhere have struggled because of inflation under the current administration. Trump and Vance vowed to make life for the family unit better!
Closer to home, Texas State Senator Morgan LaMantia lost her seat to pro-family champion Adam Hinajosa. Texas Family Project was proud to play a big role in this race through our six-figure ad campaign educating citizens of LaMantia’s abysmal record. This gives Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick an even larger majority in the Texas Senate. Patrick has previously stated that in addition to his chamber championing strong pro-family legislation, any and all casino legislation is dead upon arrival as long as he is still there.
Two pro-family State Representatives also took out anti-family candidates. And strong judicial candidates won 31 of 32 races. Conservatives flipped 23 benches held by woke and radical judges as part of this sweeping victory! Judicial races are critical for upholding our values and protecting parental rights.
A lot will change in the coming months, but just because an election is over, it doesn’t mean the fight has been won. We will still be advocating for parental rights, ending the sexualization of Texas children, and ensuring families can thrive The legislative session will be here soon and we have a lot to do! Stay tuned to our emails and social media: we’ll be releasing our legislative agenda soon and there will be plenty of ways for you to get involved!
