During the 2023 legislative session, pro-family Republicans addressed the epidemic of child sex change operations by passing Senate Bill 14 (SB14). This law took effect on September 1, 2023, and explicitly prohibits medical professionals from performing genital mutilation operations on minors under the guise of “gender-affirming care.”
Prior to this bill being passed, Texas Children’s Hospital announced that they were shutting down their “gender-affirming care” program. This came following an opinion from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, stating that child sex change surgeries could be investigated as child abuse. Texas Children’s Hospital, in an effort to not draw scrutiny from the public and the Office of the Attorney General, made the announcement that their child sex change program would be shut down. All the while, it was revealed that their “gender-affirming care” program never actually shut down when a doctor at Texas Children’s blew the whistle on the whole operation.
Dr. Eithan Haim has been hit with four felony indictments from the United States Department of Justice for exposing the lies of Texas Children’s Hospital. He will soon have to appear in federal court to defend himself. In an interview with popular X account LibsofTikTok, Eithan stated that despite knowing the possible legal consequences of his actions, he had a higher moral obligation to shine the light on the situation and protect children in the hospital. When asked if there was anything he would do differently he answered, “never in a million years.” Dr. Haim also stated that he fears the possibility of missing the birth of his daughter due to the DOJ’s vindictive actions against him.
The main message Dr. Eithan Haim wanted to deliver was that citizens must step up and take action. He stated that too many people will stand by and watch the evils of the world happen, using personal justifications for why they won’t help. Often used is the threat of losing your job, but Dr. Haim reiterated the importance of delivering your children into a safe world, which is just as important as the financial aspect of raising a family.
The uncovering of the Texas Children’s Hospital scandal and persecution of Dr. Haim shows the lengths Biden’s DOJ will go to cover up their sanctioned evils. Doctors who hurt children by performing sex change operations and administering hormone blockers should be the ones facing legal action. Instead, the only doctor with a moral compass is the one facing felony indictments and the threat of imprisonment. The destruction of the children’s minds and bodies is more important to Biden’s DOJ than honesty and ethics.
